Why companies call us early

Fix the risk before it costs the business money.

Legal problems often begin as ordinary business decisions: accepting a deal the company cannot complete, letting a manager sign without clear limits, hiring without written rules, or removing a tenant without the required process.

Locke Law helps you make those decisions correctly the first time, keep the proof, and move faster because the company already knows its rights and obligations.

Evidence from a real Redmont case

One failed deal left a company owing $137,300.

LeafLuxury LLC agreed to buy a company before it had the money ready. When it could not complete the purchase, the court ordered it to pay damages and legal fees. After partial payments, the company still owed $137,300 while reporting only $500 in assets.

In plain terms: one deal created a debt the business could not afford. The owner later avoided being personally charged for the company's debt, but only after another court case and another legal-fee award. Better deal structure could have reduced the risk before ownership or money changed hands.

How this does not happen to you

Put protection into the deal before anyone signs.

  1. 01

Prove the money exists. Confirm the buyer can pay before the company signs or transfers anything valuable.

  2. 02

Transfer ownership after payment. Use deposits and closing steps so control does not move before the money clears.

  3. 03

Plan for failed financing. Write exactly what happens if a loan, bond, or investor never arrives.

  4. 04

Protect the owner personally. Keep company obligations separate from the owner's personal property and money.

Plain-language answers

Know exactly what you are buying.

These definitions become part of the written plan scope before activation.

01

What counts as one consultation?

One private advice request about one defined business topic. It normally begins in a client ticket and can be handled through detailed text, voice, or both. You explain the question and relevant facts; Locke Law reviews them and gives you a practical recommendation with next steps. Drafting, extensive research, negotiation, and large evidence reviews are separate deliverables.

02

What is a custom business document?

A document written for your actual company and transaction, with one revision round. Examples include a formation instrument, operating agreement, employment or contractor agreement, services contract, commercial lease, demand response, or settlement agreement. A transaction requiring several coordinated agreements may use more than one document credit.

03

What is a legal review?

A focused review of one existing contract, policy, advertisement, notice, or operating record. Locke Law identifies the important risks and recommends specific changes. Rewriting the entire document may use a custom-document credit instead.

04

What does the response time mean?

It is the target time for Locke Law to acknowledge the request, identify urgency, and explain the next step during normal availability. It is not a promise that a complex document, investigation, or court filing will be completed within that period.

05

Does a subscription include court representation?

Foundation and Operating clients receive reduced ordinary engagement fees. Enterprise Protection may include one active eligible District Court business matter at a time after three consecutive paid months. Every case still requires a conflict check, merits review, capacity check, and signed matter scope.

06

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes. Cancellation stops the next renewal. The current paid month is not refunded after access or work begins. An active court matter requires an orderly transition, a separate paid engagement, or court-approved withdrawal where applicable.

07

Can I subscribe immediately?

You can apply immediately. Locke Law first reviews the company, related parties, expected workload, and possible conflicts. Payment and activation happen only after the firm accepts the relationship and confirms the scope in writing.

Apply for counsel

Conflict check first. Name every party involved. Do not submit passwords, private server credentials, or evidence files yet.

Used only for the conflict check.

Submitting does not create an attorney-client relationship. Locke Law must accept the matter and confirm scope in writing before work begins.
